Location: Michigan | I'm in Farmington. I just started playing again after some years off. I happened across this on craigslist when looking for furniture I just happend to meander into the musical intruments and this one caught my eye. I was looking for a guitar to leave at my cabin so that I would not have to drag one back and forth and wanted something inexpensive. HA! This one stays at home and the old one goes to the cabin.
I saw Willie Porter at the Ark a couple of weeks ago and that got my blood pumping again.

I was in awe watching him play. A number of my family memebers (extended incuded) play to a varying degree or another so guitar talk is usually active at family gatherings.

Maybe... just maybe we'll be able to put together a south-east Michigan gathering someday.
I have an Ark event calendar but I've yet to get out there. They got some interesting artists going through there. |
