Anyone own Uke model UAE148 ? I'm thinking of picking up a Uke, and I hear many of you talking about the mini Applause Uke, but the UAE148 has the longer, more standard scale length. Anyone own this baby? I would be interested in your opinion.

I've got two. Very nice. The longer scale length and wider fingerboard of a tenor make it a lot easier of a transition from guitar. The electronics are great (OP-24). My only complaint is that the acoustic sound is pretty lame. Don't expect it to sound like a nice open voiced soprano. It sounds more like a muffled classial guitar. If you want great acoustic sound look at a Kamaka or Martin. But for the money and especially if your interest is plugged in, the tenor applause uke is great. There are some photos on my website.
