I got an offer for the L5 that I may not be able to turn down. I like the Heritage better anyway... so this could be a good new year !!

My wife and I went to GC Christmas Eve to pick up some last minute stuff. When I went to check out she was gone. Found her in the accoustic room with a CC057 playing Christmas carols. She wouldn't put it back. She was in love! "O" Christmas tree, "O" Christmas tree... "Look, honey! It's on sale!" What could I do? At least it's an "O".

When we got home she couldn't wait to plug it in. We have a 180 watt Rickenbacker 1/2 stack that lives in the living room. I gotta say, it really sounds beautiful! She hasn't picked up her strat since.

Now that's a story with a happy ending. If you'really on the ball Andy, you should be able to parley her new guitar into a new one for yourself.

". . Jimmy Buffett book . . "

Which one? The new one, "A Salty Piece of Land"??

. . . I got that one too.

- can't start it 'till I finish the current one I'm working on - a study of the 7,000 year History of Iraq (which is about how long this book is taking . . .)

Yea, I already thought of that but I spent all my allowance.

I'll be happy for a while tho. I got a big bottle of Napoleon Brandy and some gourmet coffee to sip while she fingerpicks and I sit and strum.

It's all good!

I got John Lennon's ACOUSTIC CD. What an EXCELLENT CD. I really like the acoustic version of Cold Turkey... which is what I'm having today, BTW...

Which songs on here are different than his ANthology CD?

Michael W. Smith "Healing Rain"

Gotta do that title track for P&W.

Would have also liked the Simon and Garfunkel 2003 DVD that Gerald received.

Michael W. can't do Bridge Over Troubled Water nearly as well as S & G.
