Whilst I was in Seattle for Christmas, I had intended to hook up with "mwoody" and meet in the Lark In The Morning Music store in downtown Seattle. Alas, things went awry. My brother-in-law is a "recovering" Crack addict. Well, he was going to drive up to Seattle from Portland on Christmas Eve..... about 1/2 way he got the jitters, stopped and had a couple of beers, got the buzzzz started, turned around, drove back to Portland, met his "contacts" and went on a 3-day crack binge.... needless to say, things were rather chaotic for the family in Seattle...
...anyway, Woody and I didn't meet, but we did have a nice phone chat (he was shopping in Nordstrom's with his family)... but, the real point of this is: If you ever get to Seattle, be sure to visit Lark In The Morning... you'll have a blast! They have everything from African Thumb Pianos to Andean Nose flutes!
Really a fun place even if they don't carry Ovations!
