the rosette on my '78 balladeer feels a little bit loose on the treble side. when i tug on it i can feel it give a little.

are these just glued on? is there any way to inject a little glue in the right place, or do i need to remove it to reglue it?

thanks a lot

I've had success dealing with that problem by simply--and carefully--lifting the loose section of the rosette and applying a dab or two of Super Glue. I've done this on two of my O's and so far they're both still intact. Hope this helps.

A little Elmer's and a coupla clothespins could do it, too. Plus you can wipe up the "squeeze-out" with a damp rag. Your call.

The name escapes me but its a Hide Glue. Real tough and loosens with heat and moisture when you want it to.
