I am a new member as well as a new O owner. I have posted a few replies in several threads in which I have attempted to inject my own misdirected sense of
humor. I must admit I don't frequent chat groups or
bulletin boards so maybe I'm not keen on the ettiquette (man, am I good on the big words).

Anyway, I played in high school stage band back in the mid seventies and sold all my gear in the early eighties and have just now started to get the rust off. So you can tell my age is over 16.

To wrap it up, please accept my apologies if I offended anyone and I'll try not to be a repeat offender.

Your friend,
Tommy Abernathy

No sweat...don't take our comments out of context or you might get upset....works both ways.

This is one of the best chat sites I have ever been priviledged to participate in. Everyone acts in an adult manner and even when we veer off topic, the conversations remain civilized.

Don't be afraid to jump right back in. Everyone who takes the time to post is a valuable contributor.

Hey TWA, I thought I had the gift of closing threads. at least the conversation continues after you post. By the way, the one thread you posted that I noticed, I thought your comment was right in the flow of the thread. No worries friend, you're gonna fit in here fine.

This'll probably be that last post on this thread now

"I used to know how to spell apology"

"Sorry, seems to be the hardest word" Elton John

At one time I thought that I was the #1 thread closer. then I switched to driving away first time posters! Now I just post a lot.

We are a community of opinions here and unless they double my dues, it will stay that way. It does help to sit and listen (read) and pick up the flavor of the locals.

Welcome, hang around.

TWA- I did go do a search to see what the hell you were talking about. Had a great laugh. Drink more beer & quit worrying so damned much.

Don't give it a thought, say what you think and be happy.

I've closed 100's of threads with wisdom that just is never appreciated, but does that stop me?

Not this one though Bailey.
Some of us apprecite your late night ramblings. Especially the ones that are complete bullshit. :)
I'm reading the Book you sent me while I'm reading the board. I just turned to page 86 & there's some young guy named Bill Kaman wearing some pretty snazzy cowboy boots who's in an ad selling '82 Collectors.
My personal copy of the Book should be arriving on the 20th, according to Amazon.
Gee, we seem to have wandered off topic again....

TWA - No need to be confused. It's an old, bad joke and was not directed at you (just played on your handle). My apologies for any confusion.

Woody - I resemble that remark!

Thanks for the response. I'll continue to post and not be so thin skinned over the replies or lack thereof. :D
