I just restrung my new Adamas and the nut just dropped off. It appears to just sit there in it's notch. Shouldn't it be glued on like every other guitar I've ever seen?

Yes it should be glued in, a touch of superglue or any woodworkers glue should do the trick to keep it in the groove. Just be careful not to put on too much glue, you don't want any squeeze out showing on the peghead.

Thanks. I'll get the titebond.

And Aspep, you're not just an idiot. Don't be so hard on yourself.

I guess I'll just say I worded it wrong. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

There's a joke in there somewhere about Bentman not busting a nut.

Danged if I'm going looking for it, though. Cliff?
