Location: Los Angeles, CA | . . . ok so I'm an idiot. In my zeal to play my guitar I took it a bit too quickly out of it's case and. . . stuff happened. So now I have a quarter inch long ding on the top. Took a bit of the black paint off. And yes it still sounds awesome!
Can someone give me advice on how to "cover up my sins?" |

The black polane (sp) paint is neither gloss nor flat. I had asked a similiar question some time back and Ciff and Dave took off talking about nail polish and cross dressing. I ended up stripping the guitar and bringing out the natural grain! Found out my Breadwinner started as a red Deacon. Now it is amber.
You should have more fortune - Customer service will be the best long term fix for a divot of any size. For small chips the nail polish is probably a good quick fix.
Does someone know what the formulation or Trade name of the black polane paint is or where to get it? |

Some people won't fix every little dent and ding though, because that's character. I suppose this is like when you have a new car and someone dings it in the parking lot, the first one is a big deal. But then after ten years, it's like, well, that's an interesting dent... |

I have fond memories of WA. I lived there for a couple of years, first in Lacey, then in Kirkland. Loved the people there. |
