Location: Fl | Hello ,new here and would like some opinions. Original owner of a Patriot for 29 years and I know some have been sold in the $500 - $900 range over the years. One sold on ebay for $950.I saw one in Nashville vintage store quite used for $1000 with no paperwork and I have seen #1 here for $2000 and #76 for $1750 , maybe never sold. Mine is #880 and is excellent condition with the orginal stamped certificate of authtenticity ,original case, and 76 sales catalog. I would like to know your opinion as to what you feel its worth? To you or to a collector. Thanks John. Pictures here Patriot |

Location: Upper Left USA | My observations are that it fills a "niche" but is not a standout for sound or technology. The prices for #76 and the other that W2 has on commision are separate due to their number and history. Also because they don't "need" to be sold.
Ebay prices are the Flea market, everyman prices. I am cheap, therefore I go there.
Quick opinion:
Need the cash - $500
Got a little more time - $750
Can wait until the 250th Centennial - $1500 full appreciation and market timing! |
