And besides, it doesn't have palm tree cutouts. :D Seriously, nice to look at, but man, the price is a little high for what my wife calls a 'tiny wooden box with some strings on it.'

Marvellous. Do you guys have an equivalent or similar? Big up to da massiv (or something. I'm not even going to pretend I understand what they talk about...) Chav encompasses so much for such a short word. Maybe 'mullethead' would be close here, but you'd have to throw in a sizeable bit of 'riceboy' as well. Woody - you have chords for Hello my baby? I had some uke sheet music with the lyrics and everything, but they seem to have disappeared from my uke folder (which sits in a box, on the hearth next to my favorite chair). I wonder where they could've gone?? :

Apparently there are buyers at just about any price. Last week there was a Martin acoustic with a price of $150,000.00. I make a decent living, have no debt and I still had to save for my Adamas.

We just finished producing a Philatelists (stamp collecting) Convention here in NYC at MadisonSquareGarden. Talk about your "odd ducks" . . . Almost makes ME feel "normal". . . . . almost. (Conversely, at the end we had to move THEM out to make room for a Motley Crue concert t'night . . . )

I hear they are better now than in the '80s. So Cliff, do you have one of those little plastic tags that hangs around your neck.....meaning you can get into all the shows for free?.....to just check and make sure everyhting is in it's proper place? Back in the '70s,I use to work for the catering company that furnished all the concession stands....got to see a lot of great concerts for free....standing off to the side or occassionaly going out to the floor on shows that did not sell out.

We don't do a hell of a lot of events in the Garden, either. Last one I was involved with was the RepublicanNationalConvention (excuse me while I go into a "twitching" spasm . . . ). They do this StampConvention at the Garden because the majority of the attendees are decrepit codgers who take the train in from out of town, and PennStation is right downstairs. The Javits Convention Center is pretty much innaccessible by mass-transit (which makes a shitload of sense . . ). Last report I'd gotten was that the Crue'd arrived yesterday on their choppers and were hanging out while the stage was being built. ". . I hear they are better now than in the '80s. . ." I guess that's supposed t'be a GOOD thing?? :-) Sorry. Never was a fan . . . .

Not bad for the hair band era. Plus Gotta admire Tommy Lee and the women he seems to find that are attracted to him.
