I dredged up Al's post about the 2005 guitars,

http://www.ovationfanclub.com/cgi-bin/ubb/non-cgi/ultimatebb.php?ub...

The new 05 Adamas model is the one we're talking about, right? Has any new information come to light?

guess you could put an eye patch on the tenor side??

as to Al's "They have yet to name it but if all goes right they will name this one after me also (LOL)"

sorry, LOL would be a lousy name for a guitar...
:confused: :p :p :confused:

The Preamp will be the OP Pep! It comes with a couple of extra buttons including:

* Joisey Car Horn
* shotgun Lock-n-Load sound
* Stalone "Yo" voice-over

Mauve TRC included (Yes, I know the Aldamasdoesn't need one).

I'm psyched about this one too! I was just asking Al about it over the weekend! Can't wait!

I don't think photos are available. Al was shown a prototype at the factory and rumor is that it will first show at summer NAMM and be available in 2006. I can't find Al's original thread, but he said something to the effect of &^$F%#E^& Y^%FT(#$!

The original thread was the one where Al offered up information on the new OFC model, reissues, and '05 collectors.

Kinda mentioned the Cat's Eye in passing but many of us were on top of it like a hobo on a hotdog!

Your original link was before the bump which stimulated new responses. Some members use the "get plugged in" button and just see the latest responses without the hassle of going through the first part of the thread.

Or how about....great ideas (your link) deserve repeating!

Ok, I'm stumped. Where is that "get plugged in" button?
