Are you the sort of Guitar Player that is willing to make your own repairs? Anything like a finish repair to a replacement of electronics. Extra Credit if you can strip and recoat! |

Location: Wooster, Ohio | I was one that tried to do all the adjustments myself. Bought a twenty year old used doubleneck guitar last month that need the action adjusted, took it to the best repair shop in Akron and they leveled and polished the frets brought down the action to perfection. They brought it to a point I never could. Sometime we underestimate the value of a professional.

I agree with that 100%. I usually do all my own setups, fret polishing, intonation, etc., but occasionaly I have a guitar (that I pick up off ebay or a local pawn shop) that I never feel I get quite right. Quick trip to my local trusted luthier and he makes it good to go. |
