Thought since things have been slow for the last few days that I would post a few pics of the newest members of my family.

That TB is awesome. Some Kramer's used to have aluminum necks, too...was that a Bean rip off thing or did they work together on it?

I think kramer ripped it off. their necks were aluminum but the TB had a solid assembly where the neck pickups and bridge were one assembly.

great playing and sounding guitar but heavy as lead I think I shrunk two inches from the first to fourth set

Al,
I don't know how you could have played that for 10 years....it does weigh a ton. Has the back ever recovered???

You are right about the sound...it has the most amazing sustain of any guitar I have ever played. I believe you could probably hit a single note and hold it throughout the whole song.

Playing in the winter in a cold bar might be tricky. Kinda like sticking your tongue on the frozen lamp post!

That is a wild looking axe.

Do you own it? How does it play?

Jeff, you nailed it.
You must have gone to the gallery and read what I said about it. As pure a strat or tele tone as you could ever hope for.

I never had problems with the necks being cold
I never had problems with the guitar going out of tune.

that sucker has the sound.

damn I am going to have to dig it out and play it again. I have been playing my hamers almost exclusively over the past few years

I was just about to ask if you still had it.
I was just upstairs wailing away on it with the '66 Princeton.....man o'man what tone.

When the guitar showed up, UPS left it outside by the door in 35 degree weather. I brought it in and opened it up just to take a look and the damn neck was so cold I almost got frostbite! Now that it has been inside for a few days, not a problem.

Al, does yours have the bare aluminum neck or the aluminum neck with whatever coating they starting putting on them?

Yeah, it belongs to me. I've also got some Aluminators as well.

About the only advantage is the neck joint is about 1/4 of an inch thick.
