I'm really glad I was in a training session all day or I could have really gotten myself into trouble here.

Jesus was an actual historical figure.

He was who he said he was...

or

He suffered from mental illness...

or

He was a con man...

...take your pick.

OK... I tried to divert the thread but it won't die.. So I say let's just all pick a side and let go with a total free for all. My suggested rule would be that we all have to switch sides every 30 minutes.

Switch sides???

Does that mean Jeff will have to become "straight" :D or schroeder will have to cross the ocean  or cruster will have to learn to play a "real instrument" with more than 4 strings :p

DEJA VU

Actually, better than I was expecting.

First impression was awesome but I was afraid once the newness factor wore off I would become a little less jaded and more critical.

After playing it for a little over a week, I believe it to be even better than I first thought.....mainly because the range of tones is much wider than I expected. Recorded tones (to my ears anyway) are indistinguishable from the real animal. Rock Strat, Blues strat, chickin pickin tele, rock tele.....all the sounds are there.

If only I could play as good as the riffs I hear in my head! :(

Did you ever get the Event TR8's?

They haven't arrived yet...

Ordered them slow boat two days ago.

Still doesn't mean that you're getting your 12 fret before I sign it.

Actually, there's another option . . .

He was misquoted/misinterpreted/misrepresented by his followers.

I've come to the realization that people can't be convinced one way or the other simply by reason. And convictions based on emotion can change pretty quickly.

It's the job of the Holy Spirit to change hearts (if you believe in that sort of thing). Us "pious, self-righteous" people are just supposed to ready to explain what and why believe with gentleness and respect. (Yes, I'm butchering a text in 1 Peter).

This thread started out innocent enough. People wishing other people a Happy Holiday. Nothing offencive, not on topic, but no real waste of bandwidth involved. No harm no foul. How did it go from Happy Easter and golfing to Religion and Politics I'll never know. BUT IT JUST STOPPED.
