Has anyone had the chance to play Ovation's Tangent? Killer lookin' axe. I'm going to seek one out this weekend so I can grime up the fingerboard and consider trading one of my electrics.

I've had two. The M.O.B. and an early Tangent both with the mid-bowl. Not as strong acoustically as I had hoped but I was also hoping a little high. Great plugged in and a solid fun instrument.

I would agree with #2 from the ones I have tried.

I would love to see something MOB'ish that isn't done in complete blue - and a "other than Black" Tangent would be cool.

I would like to see Ovation try some variations on these for fun!

Instead of a Tangent, try an Elite T with a mid depth bowl. Great guitar.

I have played several and can say they do ot sound very good unplugged. Plugged into an acoustic amp they are better. I would like to see a Black Tangent 257 with a solid wood top so it would have a better acoustic sound. Would be similar to the SS Elite T I suppose, but I for one like the headstock and the bridge on the Tangent. I don't like the look of the ones with the only three or four large sound holes (I believe the 357).
