Location: south east Michigan | My local music store has a new LX 12 string and a Kaman Bar 12 string on the rack. Both are single hole models. Without getting into better/worse let's just say that there is a definate difference. |

Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | Did you compare the same model to itself (i.e. LX Legend 12 string to non LX legend 12 string)?
I haven't been able to come across an LX 12 string anywhere yet. Without getting into better/worse...did you like the LX model?
Thanks for your input.

Location: south east Michigan | Yep...Legend LX and non-LX. If I was buying one it would be the LX. But I could see someone preffering the old K-bar model. But the point is that there was a difference. |

Location: south east Michigan | The most obvious difference was volume. The LX was louder.
The LX was much lighter in weight (as expected).
I judged the strings to be of equal quality. As far as tone and balance...I did not hear a big difference. But afterall...they are both quality, single hole Ovation 12 strings. |
