What's the story with walnut fretboards ?
I know walnut was the choice for the original Adamas models but was there a time when they ditched it in favour of ebony on production guitars ?
I was suprised when I recieved my special order 1687 (2002) that it had ebony and not walnut. I didn't specify the fretboard material, I didn't know they'd ever used anything else but walnut.

I believe others have since special ordered guitars that came with walnut boards.

BTW, anyone else got an Adamas 1 with an ebony board ?
