| had nothing with him but an old italian(polverini bros.) suitcase and his original strap.
said he had great things to tell me and songs to sing.
I welcomed him in offered him some sustenance(2 new duracells) a bath, oil massage, a toothbrush to clean the crusty spots and a new set of threads (elixirs).
after his ablutions and sup he then sat down with me and began to tell me of his life.
his voice is a little scratchy and sometimes he fades away or forgets what we were talking about but I feel we will get this taken care of with a little patience, time, and contact cleaner.(coil switches and pots a little flaky)
currently wearing gold gibson shoes(knobs) but will get the old guy a proper set as soon as they are located.
all in all considering his age and meandering past he seems to be completely intact and up to a long and eventful joyous many years to come.
this thing is a wall of sound in many colors.

But you might try flicking the scratchy switches back and forth rapidly a few dozen times, and likewise rapidly rotate the knobs. This usually breaks up the worst of corrosion, AND is best done without the guitar being amplified at the time.... unless the sound of transients speak to you in a special way. |

A Misunderstood, tired, dirty, smelly, old black preacher stopped by the house today.
