I've only bought that guitar $300 to a friend, but now I see that people in France sell this model something like $1650. How is this possible ? What is the real value of my guitar ? And thanks again !

Your Mileage May Vary. Some Assembly Required. Batteries Not Included.

I probably wouldn't sell it unless I had another one lined up for the same price I paid that was just as nice. I bought my father-in-law the same guitar with a sunburst finish for $500. People always make posts and ask what is it worth. It is worth what it is worth to you. You should be looking and listening for what you like. A nice guitar is a nice guitar. Alot of us probably own guitars that have the potential to put out alot more than we can deliver. I hate the "what is it worth" posts. My 1112-4, serial number 044707, is worth more to my daughter than anyone else, knowing that one day she will have her daddy's guitar. I have been visiting this site for a little over two years, maybe longer, and newcomers are always asking what their guitar is worth. Do all these people need validation that they have a cool instrument? Regards, Shaft

I'd be willing to bet that a few hundred of the OFC's 3000+ members are people who joined so they could post to find out the value and then LEFT, never to return. Roger

And thanks again ! I've never seen a Cust Balladeer sold in France for 1650$ and i hope to never see one!! I don't say that some swindlers don't try to sell Ovation guitars at prohibitive prices but i'm sure that most of the French are not so "cretin" to buy them!!! :D And i'm working hard on a french forum to help the potential buyers and keep the price at a reasonable level!! A big challenge  Jérôme :)
