if I am correct the pd and deacon share the same elx and hardware configurations. with the limited's covering other areas.(gold hw, deluxe neck) does anyone have the numbers produced on these models.

seem to see a lot more deacon's than pd's around and only a very few limiteds

Thanks,

God Bless,

Glenn

Sorry can't help you out. I don't know much about either one. :( I did buy a Deacon though and I really like the way it sounds. I'm sure the PD is similar. :D

Now I'm looking for a Peavey Razer. I just like different looking guitars. I even have a Kramer Gorky Park. :D Don't get much different than that. :)

Maybe CwK II would know the answer to the question of how many. Exact numbers may escape his memory, but he may ata least be able to say
"alot of those, or not that many.
Got any answers Bill?

...oh, never mind. I might want to play his guitar some day. I'll be nice.

not looking for exact numbers by any means just an approximation.. I know the deacon/bw/limited style predates the pd and that the pd was introduced as a traditional(ovation?) style. also were the pd's produced in the other varied finishes I've seen on some of the other solid's or were they kept more sedate(read traditional) as well?

BTW just dove back into the elx and adjusted the trim pots a little for the neck pu and phase adjust and man does this preacher have a sweet set of pipes... got a new matched set of sovteks coming for the peavey... can't wait.

Thanks,

God Bless,

Glenn

There were more Deacons because they ran longer, the preecheur dolax was a shorter time period and the limiteds were the blowout.

Exact numbers may escape his memory. Not a chance. They were never in there to begin with. And besides, I have a great memory, it's just a little short.

there is a slight difference betwewen the Deacon & P Deluxe electronics. The P deluxe (6 string only, not the 12 string version) had a series/parralel switch for each pickup which the Deacon/BWinnwer did not

The difference or the axiom W2?

I have schematics for 1251 Rev d and F, with F being the PD.

Are you speaking Chineese or French again? Rev D, is that refering to Gary Davis?

Schematics, as described by Jim Croce during an Ovation tour, look like a marriage manual for worms. As far as what that means for the guitars, J'ne sais pas.

Is that what French Teenagers say to their parents whilst rolling their eyes?

"J'ne sais PAS"
"WHAT ever"
