Just bought a vintage Legend Ltd 1651 acoustic-electric and need to buy a stereo cord--does anyone know where I can get one? Guitar Center was mystified.

Rickenbacker sells them and I think Ovation does also. Probably find with them with a google search for "stereo guitar cord".

A standard TRS insert chord should work (Miles, would know for sure). They are "stereo" TRS 1/4 inch male on one end. The other end usually splits into two "mono" TS 1/4 inch males so you can go into 2 seperate mixer or amp channels. Dave

I believe Dave is correct...
But you might want to make sure the AC polarities are the same on whatever you plug those separate mono ends into...

Lyndon,
Welcome to the board.
I bought my cord at GC, but not in the section that sells guitar cords, go to the section where they sell mics, mixers, etc.

ask for an "insert cord" These are used to patch effects units into the insert point an a mixer channel strip.
