A few bits and pieces... We had 28 requests and 26 folks sent addresses. I sent out 12 DVD's yesterday, including two to StephenT and Moody. They will each receive a list of 7 names with addresses to whom they will advance copies they make of the DVD. It appears that the DVD's (Including the original I received from Richard) play only on computer drives. I could not play the original, nor any copies I made, on my console DVD. Sorry, but I only discovered this after I made the copies. If you are interested, I can tell you from which of us, you will be receiving your dvd. A few folks have offered to send some monetary contribution toward expenses and I thank you for that... ...but (and I DON"T SPEAK for either Paul or Stephen) for me, that is not neccesary. Please, consider it a gift. Folks on my list should be seeing their copy in the mail over the next four or five days... Except those of you who live outside US Borders (and all of you were on my list),it may take a bit more time to reach you. Please be patient and give Stephen and Paul some breathing room--- they won't be getting their copy for another few days. THANKS AND ENJOY

I guess it's the Australian zoning that's the problem, although most DVD players here are now sold with world zoning and will play any DVD. The DVD was made for me by the bass player in my band from old video tapes. I don't have a DVD burner and I'm technically incompetent.

As much traveling as I have done,I should have thought about it.Truth be told, I never even put it in my console DVD (i watched it from start to finish with earphones on my 15'laptop) until I had finished burning the copies. I gotta guess most folks on this site have access to Computer with DVD someway.. Thanks a ton for sending it. OFC folks will see it and enjoy it.

If that is the problem and I am successful, I will send a revised disc to Jeff and Paul to send back out to those who are interested.

Joined: March 2002 Posts: 14842 Location: NJ | Jeff; Got the DVD in the mail yesterday. THANKS!! Popped it into my PC when I got from a gig last night (rather, this morning). Some cool stuff! Some of the stuff I'd seen before like that Aaron Tippin FactoryTour and some stuff that was on a Japanese promotional video that Master Wong (playadamas) had sent me, but some of the stuff I'd never seen before . . . Who's the guy with the beard & th' boots?? He pops up alot on these things . . . FWIW, he's a better "Blues" player'n Sambucca . . . At least he played with a degree of "finesse", as opposed to just "all over the place" . . . ". . . yeah, the "Fool" plays the blues like MachineGun Kelly . . . . 500 notes to the bar . . . " - Harry Chapin

Gonna run it through a PAL to NTSC convertor and see if I can complete the process of watching on the big screen!

I figure you would have seen some of it, but hey no charge to see Tippin sportin and post Mullet. The W2 parts were fun. Now is that, he's a better player wif Sambucca, or a better than Sambora? Jeff; Got the DVD in the mail yesterday. THANKS!! I enjoyed the Electric guitar history as well. Some real old guys I'd had never heard of. Thanks again Richardd!!
