Joined: March 2004 Posts: 86 Location: Detroit area | Hi gang; Would any of you recommend the CC057?I'm in need of a second Ovation for the purpose of playing my Custom Legend less - therefore keeping it "safe". It's already been smashed once. I would really like to stay "in the family", but only have abour $500 to spend. Any input you have would be very welcomed and appreciated. Thanks! | ||

Joined: July 2004 Posts: 474 Location: Anchorage, Alaska | There are some really great used gitars out there for $500. I would try to get an American made used, before I would go with Celebrity. After being used to the Custom Legend you may have some issues with playing the CC057. Good luck either way. | ||

Joined: January 2003 Posts: 146 Location: Germantown, MD | Contrary to what you may hear, the CC057 is no shabby guitar. To tell you the truth, I like the action on it better than the stiffer action on my 1171 with strings of the same weight. And you'd get change from your $500. | ||
