just paid $330 for a 1996 CC-153 in mint condition. did i get ripped off? is this a good entry level classical guitar? i play a martin d-18 but am looking to learn classical guitar, and wanted something i could plug into an amp. have never owned an ovation. any tips on strings to use?

Ovations are bargains at all levels.

If you work on it you may one dayfind the limitations of your new find and seek something higher onthe food chain. Until then, enjoy the easily played neck, the projection and the durability of your guitar!
