Hey guys!

I really like the wider, mother of pearl rosette on my Legend. The rosette on my 1711 Balladeer is very thin, and looks like it is just a paper design behind a resin /plastic cover.

Question is, does anyone have an idea what a nice mother of pearl rosette would cost, and is it a difficult job to remove/replace?

Just curious

I remember hearing the Mother charges $100 for a MOP rosette and $300 for the Abalone one.

If you are attending this weekend wear something with large and deep pockets!

OUCH!

I guess the one I've got isn't so bad. Heck, I paid under $300 for the entire guitar!

Thanks for the reply Mike!

If the rosette is worth $300 this makes my custom legend the bargain of the millenium. I thought it was just the bargain of the century.

This makes me like the new inlaid rosettes a lot more than the old style.
