Consider this a market test.

The only way I can purchase the Southco 82-35-313-55 quarter turn inserts used to close the battery panel on Deacons, Breadwinners and possibly other solids is to purchase 100 each. This is the part that goes into the wood.
82-35-313-55

Is there a need for these parts amongst the members?

I "need" four. I would like to have a dozen. If there are others that need these I will buy the batch and then extend the "godfather clause" to anyone that needs them.

Watcha think'in, Waskel?

I was thinkin...
Did you actually contact (voice) someone and ask them for a smaller amount, explaining what you do? I noticed they offer samples, so they must have broken packs around.

If your reply is "Duh! That's the first thing I did!", then consider me properly humbled.

Not a "duh" from me Buddy! Good question. I checked local and national. These parts used on early eighties solid bodies don't move very fast. The Local Distributors had to meet minimum buys and had no stock. I just got off the phone with CBM who had the min order of 100 at $1.05 each - good deal - so I thought I'd see the interest before I grab some. He said his last order was in 2000!

BTW, I'm a Planner and Estimator so most of my contacts are for mass quantities for WMDs!

Ovation had a talent or a mission of utilizing parts that don't interact with anybody elses stuff! Try getting a hold of Pick Guard screws!

In gold!

They must have had some future designers for Compac working for them.

So are the onhand qtys they show on the site for 100ea packs, and you can't buy direct from Southco?

Sergeant Jim Fowler, here. Federal Bureau of Animal Husbandry, Special Llama Division.

It is in fact a federal crime to give a Llama a 1/4 turn in the back door

It's always better to give a full turn and hope for the best.

Hi! I do need four of the quarter turn backplate screws for a Deacon. Do you still have extras? Thanks!
