Location: NJ | Just Recenty Purchased a celebrity CSAT47VS Its has an archtop. Does anyone own one? I cant find much info on them. also It has the OP-30 preamp. The product catalogs don't mention this model or the electronics.any help out there? |

Welcome aboard! The CSAT47VS is an Import Model made in Korea.It's a new product. I'm not sure that there is much in print yet out there on it. I have seen it on the internet merchant sites.But not much on the specs.You might try emailing Ovation for some direct info on the guitar. Unless someone else here can speak up before you do that. Raised Top
While not an actual "archtop" there is a raise in the top and this model can provide a little more "bounce" to the sound. Had a Celeb 2003 Honey meister once. Great bargain. Wasn't long before GAS took over and I updated the Fleet.

In the past, i've made some research on this model but i haven't found a lot of stuffs!!
The only interesting thing is this page of a japanese catalog from a japanese (or korean) web site.
According this document, these guitars were new products in 2002.
Can you please post some pics of your guitar???

Location: NJ | Hey Guys One week update on new archtop! Really Like It after I changed the strings.It has a solid top which was a surprise to me and the op30 preamp is happening!Oh for everyones information unlike the USA ovations there are no shims to remove to lower the action.I'm very pleased with it. I got it at guitar trader . What a deal....359.00 no tax and they threw in extra strings. Musicians friend sells the same guitar for 599.00. apparently discountinuing this model so if your in the market.... |
