I saw a 12 string bass, (3X4), several months ago. I'll bet that will put some calluses on the old fingers and build up the finger strength. :D

It's not. I was thinking that it was a 12 fret which would mean a better sound than my 1674 Country Artist. But it's a 14 fret. Ovation can build me a 12 fret CA, but it would cost almost a couple grand. That's money I've got to save for the OFC'er. And with that on the horizon, this is not the year for me to get GAS. Next year, however........
