Location: Avon, Indiana | My father-in-law purchased an Ovation electric semi-hollow on May 28, 1968. A couple years ago, he passed the guitar on to my wife. We have tried to get information on the guitar, but the numbering does not match anything we can find. The number is under the back plate covering the neck mounting screws. It looks like it was etched into the finish. The number is 1040.

Many members here now lots about those kind of guitars, but without a picture, it may be difficult. |
