Was in my local Barnes & Noble today and picked-up the newly published Guitarist Magazine, Book of Acoustic Guitars. It is an accumlation of all the interviews in its history of great acoustic players, and also a history of acoustic guitars. Ovation players, you should be proud to know that they're are more pictures of O's in that book than any other acoustic guitar: great shots of players like Joan Armatrading, Legend 12, Robert Fripp, Shallow Legend, Gordon Giltrap, Natural Legend, Adrian Less, Adamas, Al Stewert, Shallow Legend, John McGlaughlin and Al D. with CL's. Paul McCartney with his slothead 12. The book credits the 60's Balladeer/Legend guitar as one of the top 10 acoustics in the history of the acoustic guitar. If you get the chance to thumb through this book at you local B&N, you'll feel real proud that you own and play an Ovation.
