By the end of the year, I can see this '87 in the happy hands of another member. I think it's just a timing issue for everyone.

Steve Craig (craig121) already has at least one of the 87's, or did have.... At one time I believe he had the most complete collection in the country of the various Collectors' models, and if not was quite close.

Bruce....don't be tying up the factory with your repairs. You know I got the adamas and the '05 collectors I need to send back!

I'm going to ask about having the epaulets on the ’92 Collector’s glued back down locally. My other two can wait, along with every other Ovation owner’s repairs, until you tell us here that your two are done.

Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12754 Location: Boise, Idaho | Noah, My wife already tried to get me a 1537 for my birthday, but got outbid at the last second. We need to get a few other bills paid before I feel good about "winning" an ebay auction. Like Dave, fists full of money keep flying out our windows, but not toward guitars. University of Portland, cabin remodel, kitchen cabinets, new garage...stuff like that.

I'll hang the picture on the wall. I'm sure she'll get that hint. She'll probably want to reciprocate after her 50th birthday in October, if she doesn't get too depressed. I robbed the cradle, too, along with all my other sins. Are you anywhere close to Napa Valley? That's where we're going the weekend of October 3.

Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12754 Location: Boise, Idaho | Thanks for the tact lesson, Cliff. How about, she looks awfully good for a 50 year old with minimal cosmetic surgery? Is that better? She doesn't seem to be too concerned about people knowing how old she is. Maybe because she doesn't look that old. It's getting to the point where people wonder if I'm her father. I have to put in a few of those just in case she ever starts reading this board.
