While it's not a Custom Legend, It is, none the less, major Abalone

Wow!!!
However....Here is a fine example of a poor sales presentation. More detailed photos and a better word description would pay off in a higher sale price. Wether you like abalone or not, this guitar is special. It needs to be presented with a little more excitement.

I can't tell if something is spelled out in letters on the fretboard or not. It would be hell to buy that guitar only to find that it says "Bubba".

Thank you Tony "fly fast, aim straight, return for another mission" Calman!

As one who occasionally attempts inlays and remains jealous of those that can find the time to work this art I have to add my opinion.

If you do this much work on something it belong on your own wall. Fleabay will never appreciate it. I hope some "Uncle Joe" that plays three songs for the Grandkid's picks it up and loves it!

As a matter of curiosity, does that amount of abalone, strewn about the tone wood top, detract from the natural goodness of a guitar?

How is abalone and resin as a "tonewood" is the question.

My guess is they are right in there with Rock Maple and Ebony with out the curing.

That is REALLY horrible. Doing that to a guitar ought to be illegal.

Might be beautiful to some. I prefer the beauty of natural wood or Sunburst finish. Maybe a touch of abalone.

Look at the location; French Settlement LA, maybe it's a Cajun thing. :D

I re-read the text as I at first just looked at the camera phone photo.

... has a squirl, racoom, butterfly, mother bird and two chicks, center marijana leaf ... Head has aligator with rinestone teeth ...
{I left all of the spelling unchanged.}

Sounds perfect for playing at open mike at the Roadkill Cafe. Song should be "Long Haired Country Boy" by Charlie Daniels.

Perhaps the centrality of the marijuana leaf inlay explains it all.

Judging by the description I would assume rhinestones play a large part in it - perhaps Glen should be notified?

God Bless,
