I have a pedal question does anyone use a flange or phase pedals with their Os, and if so what are the benfits if any?

I use a Maxxon PH-350 Rotary Flanger. Gives a nice whirling/swooshing effect and helps to fill empty space.

The only way to know, for yourself, is to go to a place like guitar center and plug it in. I've used a phaser with the acoustics and love it. Particularly good when there's no vocals. Not as a steady diet but with a touch of reverb, it adds a nice shimmery swoosh to your sound, like the northern lights. First time I heard a phaser with an ovation was Dave Mason live at a college beer fest, doing a rendition of All along the watchtower, simply awesome.

I've got another good question...

does anyone use overdrive pedals with their O's? To rip off a lead?
