D'Addario is having a promotion for their EXP coated strings. Buy a set, if you like them, send in the form in the link below and they'll send you a second identical set of strings for free. If you don't like them, they will refund you what you originally paid. You can purchase your strings at any retailer, as long as you have a receipt to submit.

Awww Matics....the only times you seem to pop up on the OFC is when you have a great deal to tell us about.

You should drop by more often.

Funny you should mention that. I come here just about everyday. Since I'm new to guitar, I've been mostly a voyeur in these boards. I've been really enjoying my 1995 Elite 1718 (Lefty L718) I picked up a few months ago. I'm committed to learning as much as I can. Just started some classes at the local adult school. My guitar sounds noticably better than any of the guitars in the classroom. I got to compare it against a friends Seagull S6 (I know, totally different ballpark) and I feel totally spoiled to own my Ovation.

Cool!

Since I'm already using this particular brand of strings, it doesn't hurt to have 2 sets for the price of one :)

It's a nice deal IMHO ...

Musician's Fiend has them on sale, too, I think.
