Location: Central Illinois | Hi! I just migrated over here from the Hamer Fan Club where I made the following request for info. It was suggested that I come here and ask, so here I am.
A co-worker recently had a family friend pass away. At the widow's request, my friend looked through his guitar collection to see if there was anything of value. The one piece that was interesting was a mint condition Ovation Deacon electric guitar in OHSC. Anybody know what it might be worth or where I can find more info?
Thanks! |

Location: Upper Left USA | Lots of info in our archives and the subject comes up at least once a week. Value is anywhere between $550-$950 with some exceptional pieces going higher. Twelve strings can hit the $1500 mark.
They are on the rise. |

Location: GA USA | You might want to post some pix here and get feedback. The members here can tell you if it is truly mint, and all original. Many of these guitars were modified, and we see a lot with replaced pickups and hardware. A shot of the serial number plate would be helpful too.
But to answer your question, this is the best place for info. |

Location: NJ | the serial numbers are rather useless. it all depends on condition if it had any mods and if the electronics work |
