You need to post your photos to a url (your ovation gallery for example) and then use UBB Code in the text of your post to reference the url link...
Or you can just find an image at a website and reference that url

Then write UBB Code like this:

**you can't have any spaces between the brackets like i have done above...if I didn't leave that space you wouldn't be able to read the code text in this post.

1. All photos must be web based. For example...they could be posted in the photo section of the fan club.
2. Photos need to be sized properly. Raw pics from a hi-res camera are to big. I change them to a j-peg format. There are probably other ways.
3. The "properties" window list the hptt or web address of the photo. Highlight and use the "copy" feature to save it.
4. When posting click on the "image" button and paste the web address of the photo.
5. Add a hair of frog and an eye of newt. Stir well and good luck.

edit....like Jeff said but use the copy feature instead of trying to write and retype the web address.

Where is the photo section? I can't find any such link on the site.

Click on "Ovation Fan Club" at the very bottom of this page.

-click on "Members Access" in the green bar on the left of the screen

-click "Continue"

-click "Photo Gallery"

-click "Gallery Utility"

follow the posting instructions from there...Brad's advice applies

Also, picture files must be 640 pixels or less wide and 100k-bytes or less in size.

Regarding Jeff's instructions on posting images - very good.

BUT, if you choose 'Full Reply Form" below, you'll get shortcut buttons for posting URL's images, just about all the UBB code, done for you.

Images should be resized down to 500 pixels wide. If you don't do it, the board software will, and it might not be the result you were expecting. You can resize pictures with something as simple and basic as MS Paint.
