there are plenty of places to post about politics THE OVATION FAN CLUB IS NOT ONE OF THEM.
even if you posting seems innocent there will inevitably be someone who starts to post pro this or con that etc etc etc.
Emotions run high during Presidential election years and this one will certainly not be an exception perhaps it will be more emotional than most.
Spare me your views. I don't care what they are.
As long as you get out and VOTE that is the most important thing.

and while I am on a roll what is up with posting Possible guitar for sale? Testing the waters? either the guitar is for sale or it isn't make up your minds already. next time I see one of those I will delete it and you can repost it with a definitive for sale or NOt for sale

When the other thread came up, I thought it was harmless enough, it was about a member, it was funny, it was clever, and I really thought after events earlier this year, that folks would respect the guidelines of this site and allow a little humor to exist without ruining it for everyone. Unfortunately, the usual suspects, who are always the ones who ruin it, and are first to apologize for doing so... again.. ruined it for others.
If you think Al is grumpy on this... my first impression of the first post of this thread is that it in itself contains more politics than I am willing to tolerate.
NO POLITICS. And in fact, I don't care if have an opinion about this thread. NO POLITICS.
