The Applause is the entry level Ovation. Not USA made. |

Location: Hicksville, NY | I would say that the Applause is the cheapest guitar made by Ovation, but Jeff already beat me to it! :p
Applause guitars these days are made in China ... any chance you might know the factory's location? (city, town or province) ? That just might be your portal towards obtaining your first Ovation guitar (well it's a start before moving onto bigger things later :) ).
My Applause is one tough guitar ... it fell a few times, got banged up, hit with a stick, unconsciously left overnight in the car's trunk in sub-zero temperature, but it continues to play nicely. Recently, it accidentally got slammed by my youngster which resulted in a cracked neck, and surprisingly, it's still playable! |
