And it's incredibly annoying. Am I showing my age? Edit; I just checked with Firefox, and it's like the normal animated icon, meaning its not flashing on and off. Any other Mac users getting the same anomaly with Safari?

When the batteries go dead, I have to reset everything, even though it's supposed to be automatic. It thinks we're in a different time zone. Of course the manual is in microscopic print so they can fit in 6 different languages. I spent a few minutes trying to read it before I figured out I wasn't in the English section.
