Hi,

It's been a little while.

Here's some BMinor jamming on my Ovation 1771 LX. Little rough in spots, but it was fun!

Hi George ... very nice! I've spent a little time over on guitaristworks and really enjoyed all your stuff. Very prolific and oustanding guitar work to boot! Come over here a little more often ... and maybe put something on the next OFC CD.

My 1771 LX doesn't sound anything like that.
(And I don't think new strings will do the trick.)

Very Nice!

George,
I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing. It kinda makes me long for a 1771LX. Perhaps that'll be my 6 string Ovation purchase, though I'm sure mine will never sound as good as yours. gee, Must haev something to do with the player. :)

Wow... Thats awesome.

It seems the 1771LX can sound very good when put into capable hands.

Please tell us more about your equipment setup.

Thanks!!!

The 1771 is great. Moderatly priced, with a great sound.

I went from the 1771 LX to a Hamaha AG Stomp directly into Cubase.

Thanks all!!!!

The other song on the page is "Santa Fe Sunrise"

Taylor 414 CE for comparison. They have distinct sounds, the Ovation and the Taylor, for sure. The Ovation sounds a bit richer to my ears. Taylors tend to be bright.
