PBS is advertising a concert with Peter Frampton...
No, he's not dead. But damn, he looks old!
He's cut all his hair off, trying to look younger.
Do we all look that bad?

Every time that I start to feel really old I just pull up the drunk photos of Nick Nolte, Glen Campbell and anything Keith Richards.

LOOK at his hair (what's left of it). Do you really think he'd look better with it grown out to a 6 inch 'fro?

I got to see Peter Frampton in concert this past Sept. His guitar playing and voice have not changed.
But he sure looks like the rest of us.

Frampton lives in Indian Hill now, which is like this super-hoity suburb of Cincinnati where garages sell for about $800,000. A woman doctor who's a neighbor of Frampton's ran for Congress and stated that the median income in the U.S. was something like $600,000 a year! When a local radio host challenged her on-air about that, she said, "You'd better check your figures."

Of course she lost, which means there still are at least a FEW people who can think. A post-election analysis said she lost because she was "out of touch with the masses."

"Ya THINK?"

I met peter a couple of times he was very cordial and polite.

if he played jazz you would not care if he was 1000 lbs and wore a bad suit.

Not t'be confused with Pete"thePipe"Romano, who was found (in'86) in the trunk of a Seville in middle of the PineBarrens (with two hands "shy" of a Bridge Game) . . . .

(not that I would KNOW anything 'bout that . . .)

At least he didn't have what's left in a little pony tail the last time I saw him. He was on the Steve Cobert show and looked and played pretty well. Better than me on both counts, but that's not saying much.

He's still got it. We got a cd of his about 10 years ago and I liked that even more than the new one that Cliff put in the car at the OFC Joisey gathering.
