F'rinstance, Albertans are basically Texan-popsicles. Lovely folks but they still have a thing called 'the nonsmoking section' which is one table with no ashtray. (Legendary Canadian humourist Dave Broadfoot says, "It's like having a nonpeeing section in the pool!")
The only reason someone would live in Toronto is because they can't 'make it' in New York. (IMNSHO)
And out here in British California well,...that about says it all!
The only groups we have that are unique to Canada are the Quebecois (no comment), those wonderful weird Newfies, and a famous subcult made famous by Don Harron that reputedly lives around Parry Sound Ontario. |
