| I have an ovation CS257. I purchased it 3yrs ago. The guitar is 90% no sound comes out when I plug-in to the amp. the guitar comes with a op30 pre-amp. The pre-amp works fine to me. I am wondering if there anything I can do to fix this problem! THX guys! |

As a former IT troubleshooter (couldn't get out of that job fast enough!), I suggest you make sure you are looking at the right piece of equipment before assuming the worst. Try using a different cable and the same amp. Try using the usual cable with a different amp. Try using a different cable and a different amp. If all this fails, it's time to look more closely at your guitar. And, come to think of it, you may want to put a fresh battery in the thing. Even if your present battery is relatively new, you may have installed a dud.
Good luck |

The parts of the sound assembly with the OP30 are:
Undersaddle piezo pickup
preamp
Preamp socket
Output jack wire harness
Battery
Isolating where the problem is helps. Customer Service can support the OP 30. |
