I think this is pretty exciting news. It's interesting to have a look at all the options and see what's possible.

Seems like the factory is prepared to make any Adamas configuration you want.

Even though I bought a #47RI and a 1687RI last year, it's still got my wheels turning.

Gotta leave something for the boys in New Hartford to do when all the manufacturing has moved to Asia. Dave

Ooooh, does this mean that you can "custom" make a #47RI with VIP electronics?

Really makes me sad ... I guess we'd better take advantage of the factory tours before they move to China too. :(

The VIP would have to be "modeled" for that particular type of guitar . . .

I wrote this with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Please do not email me (someone already did) that I am promoting the destruction of American business. It was a JOKE!

I think the Adamas Custom Shop is just the modern day replacement for the Sears & Roebuck Christmas Catalog. Man, I used to love paging through that thing.

Anyone know when the Adamas website will be updated to include all this good new info? Last update was Dec. 2005. For a leading edge high tech company they sure are behind the times when to comes to communicating their message.

The Adamas website is hopeless.

I had to go to Jeromes website to get the lowdown.

Guys, guys, guys ... After all this time you still don't know me very well, do you. You don't think FOR A MINUTE that I asked that question about when the adamas website would be updated because I actually expected an answer, do you ???

What better way to make a "statement" than to ask an innocent question, one to which you already know the most obvious, pathetic and embarrasing answer. Some of the website is actually pretty nice. The history part is interesting and has actually been updated within the last 2 years. But how freaking hard is it to inform the world about the great things you are doing on a semi frequent basis?

Our MarCom web specialist at my company showed me her job description. It says "Minimum of weekly you must refresh the latest product, people, corporate profile, environmental or community events information on the website. If there is nothing official to update, then make something up." She makes $12. an hour and does an amazing job.

Don't ever answer any question Dave asks unless he puts it in writing first!

Yah, that'll do it! Maybe...

There's nothing worse than having to explain your own sarcasm. It defeats the whole purpose you were trying to defeat in the first place.

So why don't they just give Jerome one free guitar a year and use his Website?
