I've got 25 this April. At that point there should be a renewal option that could or could not be signed WITHOUT PENALTY. (as if!!!)

Now back to our regularly scheduled digressions.
Congrats on the 25 years, Bill.

We got married in Jamaica and they screwed up my (uh) wife's name on the certificate. She tried to renew her passport this week and they told her, "No can do, that ain't you." I've been telling her for years that the typo, coupled with neither of us having signed it, means we're not legally married, which means she doesn't legally exist. I wonder how badly she wants that passport renewed...

Well since this is back OT, we're 24 this year, so that's make 23/07/1537 er, I mean 1983. Hey I think I'm on to something here. :) Might have to use Mark's program for GAS and put a bug in the wifes ear!

That one's easy. You get a 1537 anytime to celebrate the year of your marriage--1983. Then next year you get a 25th anniversary or any other anniversary model. Come up with some connection to 1987. If you can make it to 30 you have all sorts of choices. My wife got me the 30th Anniversary Custom Legend for ours (next August). I didn't tell her the Ute was a 30th Anniversary edition, too. I think I'm going to have to adopt some kids or come up with another system.

On Topic again:
Congrats Patch!
While I am more a fan of the round soundhole model of the 2001 Collector's, this is the most beautiful bookmatched top i have seen on a 2001 - with the one with epaulettes on Jerome's page. http://www.ovationtribute.com/Acoustic%20Series/Collector%27s/2001%...
Really nice guitar!

I think it's pretty tough to match the beauty of dvd's. Several different grain patterns, with light and dark shading.
