by Walter Carter....Do you all know if this is a pretty good book, or if there are any others available, like an Adamas book, maybe? Seems like its around $20 online. Any cheaper used copies through the club? I'm interested in picking one up. Thx.

It's a pretty good book although by no means extensive or detailed.

As far as a book about Adamas, I'd love to see one. I find the Adamas story pretty facinating.

....I think CWK2 should write a book

There's one of these getting passed around in the OFC. You read it, sign it, and send it to the next person.

I don't know where it is now. Where is it now?

Better just buy your own. The traveling books seem to keep getting lost.

I think this one is out of print so if you see a copy get it.
I wrote this one with Walter. Too busy doing SFA for another.

I thought it should be subtitled "A History of Bill's Hair." I could hear my Father saying "get a hair cut" as I read the book, just like he said to me a thousand times in the 70s.

I know I've been out of the loop a year or two, but WTF is SFA? Or is that NOMB?

It's an English expression, The S is sweet and the A is all. I guess the Floridian version would be "ain't doin diddly".
Not to take credit away from Walter, he wrote it all. I proofed it and rewrote what needed to be redone since I was there and he wasn't. We spent alot of time discussing things before hand too. He was a real easy guy to work with and he had no ego problems with whatever I changed. It was a fun project to do.

Unlike Bill, I hardly ever need a haircut anymore. Dad used to complain that it was always hanging in my eyes. How great would that be now?

I recently got a copy from Elderly Instruments in like three days after waiting six months(!) for Amazon-not-com to send one (they said they were in stock, and every three weeks they kept pushing back the ship date. It's a great book and a must for Ovation completeists.
