I also own 2 Swiss Armies....1 Titanium and 1 Ltd Ed (100 made) along with a couple of Seikos. Even though they cost much more, the Swiss Armies tend to get the everyday wear while the Seiko watches are more dressy and for show.

Al's comments about the jules jorgenson self winder that he received for graduation sure brought back some memories. That was also the first "real" watch I ever owned and I wore it for many many years before it finally broke and the cost to fix it far outweighed the cost of a new watch.

Used to wear Swatch in weekends but now it's Sony Ericsson K610i. I still wear watches at work & I have a few Cartier's, simply because I like their designs.

Interesting topic, somehow I'm sure it means something. It looks like there are the extremes of no watch, no how, no never and of course the can't live without it(me). Then there's the mid roaders, just give 'em twelve numbers and two maybe three hands and they are good to go.
After wearing a Casio dive watch fro about 15 years, I moved on to a Luminox 8100 series. I like knowing the time all the time. If I wasn't afraid of hurting the Mrs, I'd wear it to bed. This watch glows brightly enough that I can easily see the time in the dark without my glasses.

I just mentioned this thread to my Mom over the phone...
"Guitar Players don't wear watches, do they?"
She has I point.

I own several Casio watches, but they always bothered my wrist after a while. I finally gave up on wrist watches altogether, and I now have a Dakota Backpacker Phase 4 that I clip on to my belt loop. It's kind of dorky, but it works for me.

My boss gave me a Lorus sports watch for Christmas and I was feeling good. Two weeks ago he told me there was no work around and I'd have to start looking for another job. At least I know how many hours I've been unemployed.

Alba's a division of Seiko isn't it?

Seiko wristwatch my wife bought me when I managed a radio station and needed accuracy to the split second. It's off getting repaired as it gave up the ghost in Mexico a couple weeks ago. (couldn't take the heat, I guess)

But I'm thinking of getting a pocketwatch as my arms are getting too short....

Rich guy that I am, I own TWO Timex Expeditions. I recently replaced the batteries in both of them for $3.79. Life is good.

Never had one.... I pretty much know what time it is...at least close enough...if I don't know it's always fun to ask because it's a great way of meeting people...

I picked up this beauty while working in Malaysia. The exchange rate made this watch irresistable.
