Location: Sweden | as some may (or may not recall) I got myself a magnum a few months back, and now i wanna change the strings.
since this is such a monster-long bass i need some really long strings - ordinary long scale strings are too short!
Any tip on a nice web based retailer that has some long strings that'll work?
i usually order from stringsandbeyond, but they didn't have any fitting strings.
(i also tried to buy via eBay, but the seller ripped me (and alot of others) off and got suspended from eBay. thanks to paypal i'll get my money back thou).

the strings for my magnum need to be 95 cm = 37.4 in from ball end to nut. so, with d'addario that's "super long".
what strings do you other magnumplayers use? |

Location: 6 String Ranch | Ovation used to have their own which were long enough. Now you just got to go with the D'Addario XL. I think GHS makes a xl too. Maybe some others? |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I use GHS on mine. In fact if I can't find Kaman Performers, I use GHS strings on my guitars as well. |
