I love my #47RI but I've had to have it fixed twice.
I've had the the walnut on the back of the neck sink, settle or contract in a couple of spots, leaving the carbon strip sitting proud.
I had it fixed initially last Nov. and again now. The luthier said it was unusual for a neck to "move around" (as he described it) so much in such a short period of time.
The guitar has been expertly fixed and you'd never know.

I'd like to know, has anyone else had a similar problem ?

....finally I've got to praise the people at National Music (Aust. distributor) for their great service.

ouch. (almost sounds like the wood wasn't properly seasoned)

Maybe it's the grafite that's moving?

I have no problem with mine. Is your environment temperature and humidity controlled?

Someone send me a #47 RI for several months, and I'll report back on the necks reaction to the CT temp and humidity changes.

On the way....let me know when it gets there.

btw...you will be responsible for the entire cost of the guitar for lost shipments so make sure to let me know when it arrives safely.
