Ted was just a phenomenal musician. His depth of knowledge is mind boggling to say the least.
If you are interested you may want to check out the Ted Greene Forum Ton's of great info over there. One of Ted's students even posted a link to his archived lessons with Ted in iPod format (m4a)
Thanks again Erik!

None the less, Mr, Greene, may he RIP, was a musician's musician. Have you looked into any of the books he has written? I have a copy of Chord Chemistry, and if i had 2 lifetimes, i could never fully grasp the depth of knowledge in there. And he wrote three more just like it.
Not only was he musically gifted, he was a guitar tweaker and player extraordinaire. The tone and timbre he pulls from his Telecaster is ethereal. I've never heard anything like it.
Anyway, thanks again!
Cheers.

Location: Snåsa, Norway | I have Chord Chemistry and Modern Chord Progressions, but I'm afraid that my musical skills are too poor to go deep into the material. With patient practice, I hope to be able to learn a lot from his books, but will need more than 2 lifetimes to get through. Got to go to my guitars! |
