I've got a feeling that it is not only me who will enjoy to sit for 50 minutes watching Ted Greene with his Tele on his lap talking on scales, keys and harmony while playing along. If you're so inclined go to this web page and enjoy!

It's been a while since you posted this, but i wanted to thank you for the link to Ted's seminar. I've watched it about a half a dozen times.

Ted was just a phenomenal musician. His depth of knowledge is mind boggling to say the least.

If you are interested you may want to check out the Ted Greene Forum Ton's of great info over there. One of Ted's students even posted a link to his archived lessons with Ted in iPod format (m4a)

Thanks again Erik!

I've already been to the Ted Greene forum, but thanks for the reply, I was almost convinced that this was to "far out" for this forum, since the thread seemed to be stone dead.

Perhaps it is way OT for an Ovation board.

None the less, Mr, Greene, may he RIP, was a musician's musician. Have you looked into any of the books he has written? I have a copy of Chord Chemistry, and if i had 2 lifetimes, i could never fully grasp the depth of knowledge in there. And he wrote three more just like it.

Not only was he musically gifted, he was a guitar tweaker and player extraordinaire. The tone and timbre he pulls from his Telecaster is ethereal. I've never heard anything like it.

Anyway, thanks again!

Cheers.

I have Chord Chemistry and Modern Chord Progressions, but I'm afraid that my musical skills are too poor to go deep into the material. With patient practice, I hope to be able to learn a lot from his books, but will need more than 2 lifetimes to get through. Got to go to my guitars!

Very cool. Enjoyed it very much. Much better than American Idol.
